Is there a free plan?
No. RankEngine has two plans: Basic at $19 per month and Pro at $59 per month. Both start with a 3-day free trial run by Shopify, so you can run a full audit and apply verified fixes before you are charged. The free SEO tools on this site need no account.
How does the 3-day free trial work?
You choose Basic or Pro inside the app and approve it in Shopify. Shopify runs the trial: you are not charged during the 3 days, and if you cancel before the trial ends you pay nothing. After the trial, the plan is billed monthly or yearly, whichever you chose, on your Shopify invoice.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Both plans can be billed yearly at 20% off twelve monthly payments: Basic is $182.40 a year ($15.20 a month, saving $45.60) and Pro is $566.40 a year ($47.20 a month, saving $141.60). Pick Monthly or Yearly on the plan picker in the app. The same 3-day free trial applies, and Shopify then bills the full year at once on your Shopify invoice.
What is the difference between Basic and Pro?
Basic tracks 25 keywords (refreshed weekly) with daily scans, runs up to 20 autopilot auto-fix rules, includes 10 AI blog posts a month with hero images, and does bulk product SEO. Pro tracks unlimited keywords (all refreshed weekly), scans every 6 hours, removes the autopilot-rule limit, includes 31 AI blog posts a month — one a day — with premium hero images, and adds Google Shopping research, toxic backlink detection, PDF export, priority support, web-bot-auth response signing, and UCP + ACP commerce manifests.
Why is Pro the recommended plan?
Not because each article is cheaper: both plans work out to about $1.90 per article ($19 for 10, $59 for 31). Pro is recommended because it publishes three times as many articles and takes every limit off — unlimited keyword tracking, unlimited autopilot rules, scans every 6 hours — and adds the tools Basic does not have: Google Shopping research, toxic backlink detection, PDF export and priority support.
I am on the Starter or Growth plan. Does anything change?
No. Stores already on Starter ($9.99/month) or Growth ($24.99/month) keep their plan and price. Those plans are no longer offered to new stores.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Plans are billed through Shopify and you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from inside the app. Billing is handled by Shopify, so it appears on your normal Shopify invoice.
Are the fixes really applied to my store?
Yes. Every automated fix is written to Shopify through the Admin API and then re-read from the live store to confirm it landed before it is marked done — so a plan buys real applied changes, not a longer to-do list.
